Chesterfield Rescue Squad

103 Cotton Street, Chesterfield South Carolina

On Wednesday, March 4, 2015, the Chesterfield Rescue Squad completed a 48 hour ANSI Emergency Medical Responder Class. The class was comprised of members from the Chesterfield Rescue Squad, Chesterfield Fire Department, Cheraw Rescue Squad, Ruby Mt. Croghan Fire Department, and Teal's Mill Fire Department. This group of dedicated volunteers have been trained and can demonstrate patient assessment and management of a trauma or medical patient, assist ventilations with a bag-valve mask, oxygen administration, and cardiac arrest management; including the use of CPR and an AED. These men and women will be a great asset to their respective departments and communities. Great job and thank you for your commitment! Special Thanks to instructors Bob Mclaurin, Ann Kerns, and Clay Kerns; Joe Tarlton, and Lance Efird with their assistance throughout the class.
