Tuesday, April 14, 2015, Chesterfield Rescue members, along with members from the other rescue squads in the county had hands on experience during the monthly in-service training held at the Chesterfield Rescue Squad building. Members were able to dissect pig lungs to better understand the anatomy of the airway. Advance airway procedures and tools were discussed and demonstrated during the training. This gave the members a clear picture of how the lungs work. Instructing the training was First Health Training Officer Paramedic Ron Martin.
